I have been a regular exhibitor at Mackay-Harrison Galleries for a number of years now. Presently I am working toward having a couple of new pieces for David’s annual Christmas Show.
David Mackay Harrison is a ‘formidable sculptor of the human body’. His beautiful waterfront gallery in Ballina is well worth a visit should you be travelling that way.

I won First Prize in the Class 1 – Open Class – Any Subject – Figurative category at the Royal Queensland Show (fondly known as the EKKA) in 2015 for my portrait ‘Losing Colour’. Judging Panel – John Massy, Duncan Ezzy and Frances. Due to other commitments I am not entering the EKKA this year but intend to submit a couple of pieces in 2017.

In July 2015 I won a prize for Sculpture at the Royal Queensland Art Society 125th Annual Exhibition for ‘Surf Horse’. I was honoured to be recognized by the Judge – Dr. Rhyl Hinwood who commented on this work: ‘Exuberant modelling of an exaggerated form evokes a wild marine environment’. Dr. Rhyl Hinwood is recognized worldwide and her sculptures are found in State and Federal collections with works included in Parliament House, Anzac Square and over 300 pieces at Queensland University. http://www.rhylhinwood.com/
